We were super excited to try this place and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything we ordered was delicious. Everyone working was so polite and happy to be there! Our order: The beef plate with Hurricane fries, Kalua pork loaded nachos, SIX teriyaki Spam Musubi & Dumplings with sweet chilli sauce We will be back many times and with friends! Everyone in our party was happy and full. We waited 40+ minutes for our order; so perhaps more kitchen staff for dinner rush!! To be fair, once we all took a bite, the wait was worth it.

The food was fresh and super delicious! I ordered the garlic shrimp and man was it amazing, its lightly fried and the sauce inside it also cooked to perfection, also me and my husband ordered the teriyaki spam musubi and he also ordered the loco moco fries with katsu. The music is low enough to enjoy but also low enough to be able to converse. The staff are very welcoming.

I recently hosted an event at Kalani‘s Hawaiian Style Cafe and it was amazing. The food, atmosphere, and service all were 5++ ⭐ star. Kalani actually stayed late to help accommodate my group. If you haven’t tried this place, you need to!!!

My darlin' brought home a couple plates for dinner and the meat was . I got Kalua pig and short ribs and he got the shrimp....only thing that wasn't great was the rice was a little toooo wet it was mushy hence the loss of the 1 star (this could have been a one off - the first time we went the rice was fine.... and if you've grown up on rice you know that it matters!). But the flavor of the meat was on point!!! Love the short ribs sauce, the shrimp was garlic buttery goodness and the Kailua pig was tasty. The things you take for granted living in Hawaii and having bbq plate lunch available all over the place....it's so great to have a little taste of home in Phenix City. P.s. I'm excited to eat my leftovers for lunch!

First time coming in. I saw them mentioned on Facebook and we immediately knew we had to go! Our son went to school in Hawaii and we all miss the great (authentic) Hawaiian food. We were NOT disappointed! We were greeted immediately when we came in. The vibe is so relaxing with the island music playing in the background. It's decorated in the island theme (obviously). We ordered Chicken Katsu, Kahlua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken and Spam Musibi. Of course we got the mac and rice (with extra mac to go and some spam musibi). Food came out pretty quickly. It was HOT and FRESH. They have the Hawaiian Sun drinks as well, included the popular POG!! The food definitely tastes authentic. The portions are perfect! We did do the combo plates (well worth it). My husband and I shared one (definitely enough for 2) and our son ate one by himself (he's an athlete that can eat for 4). We will definitely be semi regulars (we live 45 minutes away). Whenever we're in the area for shopping, we'll be in!

My daughter and I were out shopping from Dawson, Ga. and decided to stop for lunch. We chose Kalani's Hawaiian Style Cafe because we both wanted to try something different. Wow! The food, the service, the overall quality and price, AWESOME! I can't recommend this place enough. I had the combo plate with Kalbi and Hurricane chicken with the Strawberry Lilikoi drink. I've never been to Hawaii but if this is what the cuisine is like then sign me up!!
